One of the things we pride ourselves on with our handmade purses is the heavy duty life long nature of a wooden box purse. We are painstaking making sure that every detail is as perfect as we can get it, while still keeping it primitive and unique enough to feel like “us”. Justin and I share ideas back and forth for each of them, even when we don’t know how it might go over, just that it is a really fun thing to put imaginative things on a handbag.
The only part that we don’t have total control of is our hardware. As we have gained more and more clients and these things are being used everyday, we noticed a need to keep upgrading the hardware to the heaviest and nicest we can source, and it doesn’t come cheap. We want every purse to be as fun and long lasting to carry as any other wood item you might buy from our studio. That is why we guarantee all purse hardware for the life of the purse. There are some out there with smaller handle clamps, or different sorts of latches, and if for some reason there is ever any trouble it will always be our pleasure to fix and upgrade them for free. We can send out repair kits or send it back here on us, and no matter what, getting your purse back on the road. We are in a good place now but even still things happen, so just consider this the same as when you find buttons or thread with your nicer clothing. We want you to enjoy these for the long haul. If Coach can do it then so should we!
